You might not think of applesauce as being one of those things you need to make. I mean, Mott’s has a pretty good handle on the market right? But I’m hear to tell you, as someone who has made 4 batches in 2 weeks, Mott’s ain’t got nothin’ on me. No kidding, I’m eating a small bowl of homemade applesauce right now, fresh out of the slow cooker, as a late night snack!
I just spent this past weekend in Boston with two of my adorable girlfriends from college and, hand to God, every menu we saw had truffle SOMETHING on it. Truffle fries, truffle eggs, truffle pizza. IT WAS EVERYWHERE. The city just smells like truffle right now. Which got me thinking, “I have white truffle oil in the pantry, don’t I? Let’s see what kind of trouble I can get in to!”
When my husband and I were in Seattle this past fall for our 11th-anniversary trip (yep, 1 year late on the intended 10th anniversary trip…) I fell in love with the most incredible chilly-weather drink at the Public Market: the London Fog Latté. I fell HARD. Like we were in Seattle for less than 48 hours and I had one both mornings, the second one minutes before we headed to the airport! I’ve recreated it several times back in NYC and I’m STILL enjoying it now in May
Cinco de Mayo is almost here! Do you know where your avocados are?! You better because I have a treat for you! I’ve put together a fresh and simple menu that includes all of my go-to Mexican favorites. The ingredient lists are short but the flavors are phenomenal. So use the best ingredients you can find! And OMG, I love y’all so much I put together a shopping list,
I just can’t let Cinco de Mayo pass without having one of these Cucumber + St. Germain Margaritas. I discovered St. Germain years ago and then came across THIS recipe from Freutcake. I’ve been playing with it ever since! I LOVE the simplicity and how a few ingredients make each other sing.
